If there is a situation that possess a problem for normal birth and the birth approval has been given by the physician, it is an operation that operates with an incision made to the abdomen and uterus under operating room and anesthesia. Due to environmental factors and considerations, the expectant mother may want to have a cesarean delivery. Cesarean section performed under epidural and spinal anesthesia can also be performed under general anesthesia in some cases. The mother, who is exposed to a lot of environmental pressure, may become stressed and unstable. In such cases, it is necessary to consult a doctor and choose the best way for both mother and baby.

One of the most important details of cesarean delivery is that the baby is born with the least risk. In addition, since the delivery period will be shortened and it will be performed under anesthesia, it has started to be in more demand today. However, as in every surgical procedure, some complications may develop in cesarean delivery and the expectant mother may be at risk. Some of those are cases such as infection, organ damage, and hernia formation in the operation area.

Spinal anesthesia

It is a type of anesthesia applied only in cesarean sections. A medicine is given from the waist to ensure that the birth is painless and only the lower part of the waist is anesthetized. Due to the similarity of the method, it is often confused with epidural anesthesia. As with any procedure, side effects can be seen in spinal anesthesia. Headache, low back, and back pain are some of them. However, for spinal anesthesia, an examination with a physician must be performed.
