Pubis Aesthetic (monsplasty)
The mons pubis is the hairy area just below the groin. Some women are uncomfortable with the bump here, especially when wearing a swimsuit-bikini, the formation of bumps or protrusions affects them psychologically. It also lowers your self-esteem considerably. Contrary to what is applied to the genital area, fat is removed from the mons pubis, which is thicker than normal, and this bump is removed. This operation provides a thinner appearance. This aesthetic operation, called monsplasty, can be applied in three different ways:
Liposuction
It is an operation in which a thinner image is obtained by removing the fat on the mound formed in the mons pubis region.
Lipolysis
It is the melting of fats by the liquid method applied to the subcutaneous part over the mons pubis. It is a preferred method as it does not requires a surgical procedure and doesn’t cause pain.
Surgical procedure
It is the surgical removal of the skin layer and thinning of this area. As in the tummy tuck operation, the fat in this area can also be taken and reduced. However, this surgical procedure should only be applied to those with advanced prolapse and excess complaints.
